Questions, due on September 27

• How long have you spent on the homework assignments? Did lecture and the reading prepare you for them?
  I've probably spent an average of about 5 or 6 hours per assignment.  That may be an over-estimate, because the first two were probably shorter.  The lectures and reading have prepared me very well but additional help is sometimes needed.
• What has contributed most to your learning in this class thus far?
  I think being held accountable for reading by these blog posts, and then hearing the material explained in class has helped me very much.
• What do you think would help you learn more effectively or make the class better for you?
  I am getting a little nervous as we get deeper into math thing (e.g. finite fields).  I have only taken math 113 and linear algebra here at BYU, and it's been a while since I have taken either of them.  So far I feel like I am not at a disadvantage, so continued clear explanation and going slowly will help me remain effective.  I reckon there's enough in the text that if I focused really hard I could keep up, but I appreciate difficult concepts being explained clearly in class.  Thanks.
